Located on the river Bistrica in the untouched nature that surrounds it, this house will provide its guests with a unique life experience. It is located in the small town of Gornja Dubrava, just over an hour away by car from Zagreb, which makes it an ideal option for a weekend vacation, but also for longer stays in this stunning natural environment. In addition, its position guarantees you complete isolation, peace and privacy. It is located on a property of 1600 square meters, and on the site of today's house 200 years ago there was an old mill. After a long process of bureaucracy and construction, today's house was completed in 2019, built stone by stone by its owners and equipped with a lot of love and attention in order to make every guest feel at home.

The house itself has an area of only 60 square meters distributed on the ground floor and attic with a balcony, but also contains more than enough for a comfortable stay for a maximum of 5 guests. The interior design had to follow the main idea of making the house completely in harmony with nature. Therefore, natural materials such as stone and wood are the most widely used. Only wood belonging to this area was used, so several types of wood stretch through the house, from walnuts, wild pears, spruces and firs to some details from wild pomegranate and alder, and some of the interior textile materials are handmade and valuable family inheritance. On the lower floor there is a living room with large windows with an incredible view of the river, a kitchen with barbecue and a bathroom. The bench in the living room by the window is certainly one of the locations where guests will spend the most time and take photos to remember. If you climb the original solid wood stairs to the upper floor, you will find a large open space with a fireplace, a double bed, a single bed and a balcony with a fabulous view of the river and the forest.

Next to the house there is a hot tub available to guests throughout the year, and swimming in hot water and then cooling off in the river is certainly a special experience that you will not want to miss. For guests looking for an active holiday, badminton equipment and kayaks or quads can be rented at an additional cost. A food and grocery delivery service is also available to guests. Staying in this charming hut will surely be an unforgettable experience that you will remember for the rest of your life.
