Many guests often wonder whether to book hotel accommodation or rent a luxury villa with a pool for their well-deserved vacation. The offer of luxury villas, and therefore the quality, as well as the number of additional benefits they offer, has risen significantly in recent years. Today we have luxurious villas that, in addition to almost standard facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi, also have tennis courts, mini golf, billiards and other facilities that would put some top hotels to shame. In addition, some of the luxury villas offer a concierge service to their guests, so guests can request a private chef, a private transfer, rent a boat if they wish, get a babysitter and the like.
Privacy is a concept that has always had great importance during vacations, and in recent years it has only become more valuable. Even those who like to be surrounded by a large number of people want to spend their vacations in peace and privacy, surrounded by only the closest people. In hotels, privacy is reduced to a minimum from the moment you arrive at the hotel until you leave it. Employees at the reception, as well as other guests who happen to be at the reception, see your every arrival or departure from the hotel. You will have to share all the amenities of the hotel from breakfast, swimming pool, sauna and so on with other guests. How many times has it happened to you that you wanted to go to the sauna or Jacuzzi, but it was so crowded that had to come later? Or maybe you wanted to enjoy yourself by the pool and read your favorite book, but the children of other guests decided to jump into the pool and shout at the top of their voices :) Also, most hotels have specific opening hours for the Wellness and Spa areas, making you use the indoor pool, sauna, gym, Jacuzzi and other facilities only within that time, not whenever you would like it.

In addition to renting a luxury villa and having the entire property to yourself, most villas have a completely fenced estate that gives guests an extra level of privacy. The pool is only yours for carefree bathing and enjoyment, and the same applies to all other additional facilities such as sauna and Jacuzzi. Also, if you feel like drinking a glass of your favorite sparkling wine at midnight in the Jacuzzi, who's stopping you from doing that? As for food, there are villas that offer the possibility of organizing breakfast for guests or the arrival of a private chef. On the other hand, most of them have a real grill, and is there anything nicer than enjoying a joint meal that you made yourself with the closest people?
Hotels are predictable and a bit boring, especially if you have a restless spirit, like to be surprised and experience something completely new. Of course there are many different types and categories of hotels, but essentially most of them boil down to the same basic things. Every hotel is built predictably so that you always enter the reception first, and from there you go to the rooms through a common corridor. All additional facilities are always located in the same place and have specific working hours, breakfast is always on the ground floor or at the top of the building and always has a limited serving time. Also, the location itself where the hotel is located is usually near the sea, in the city center or somewhere with a large enough property to build a hotel.
Unlike hotels, luxury villas and unique vacation homes can completely surprise you with their unique location and design. Search for completely unique houses for rent and treat yourself to a vacation that you will remember for a lifetime. Rent an original lighthouse and enjoy a small private island or perhaps a stone house right next to the sea on a large private property or a wooden cabin on the river itself in the middle of beautiful nature.
Luxury villas, in addition to a lot of privacy, always offer much more space and comfort compared to hotels. Even large suites in a five-star hotel cannot be compared to the spaciousness offered by luxury villas. The differences in the bedrooms may not be as great as they are in other areas such as the living room, kitchen, additional rooms and most importantly the outdoor property. In hotels you may have a small terrace, and in villas you usually have several terraces and a large property that is mostly completely fenced. Almost all villas have an outdoor swimming pool that always has enough space around it for deckchairs to sunbathe and enjoy.
As we have already mentioned, locations and micro-locations where hotels are located are very similar, and they are usually near the sea, in the city center or somewhere with a large enough property to build a hotel. Also, keep in mind that the total number of vacation homes is far greater than the number of hotels on the market, and therefore you have a much larger choice of locations when choosing a home. So, for example, if you want to stay in a small quiet village in the middle of nowhere in beautiful nature, renting a house is the only choice, considering that there are mostly no hotels available in such areas. In addition, building a house requires much less space than a hotel, so houses can be found in some unusual locations, such as small islands, steep terrain with a wonderful view, at seafront in a small bay...
Although for most guests who choose luxury houses for their vacation, price is not a decisive factor, we believe that it is certainly useful to note that villas offer a better price-quality ratio compared to hotels. This more favorable ratio in favor of the villas is especially evident with a larger number of people when more rooms should be booked in the hotel. Thus, if you are traveling on vacation as a larger family with children, several families, or a group of couples or friends, renting a luxury villa will definitely be a less expensive option than renting several hotel rooms.
